Privacy Policy

Who we are

modularopen.com is operated by Modular Open Corp., 233 S Wacker Dr, Suite 2200, Chicago, IL 60606, USA. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit this website. You can reach us at any time using the contact details at the end of this page.

Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to run the site. That includes standard technical information your browser sends automatically — such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you view — along with anything you choose to send us directly, such as your name, email address and message when you use our contact form.

We do not ask for, and do not want, health information. Please do not send us details of a medical condition, diagnosis or treatment. We are not a health care provider and we cannot advise on any of it.

We do not process payments

No purchase is made on this website. When you click an offer link you leave this site and go to a third-party merchant. Your name, address, card details and order information are collected by that merchant on their own systems, under their own privacy policy. We never see them and we never receive them.

Cookies and affiliate click tracking

This website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand how it is used. Separately, the offer links on this site pass through an affiliate tracking service. When you click one, that service may record the click and set its own cookie or identifier so the merchant knows which website referred you and can pay the resulting commission.

Those tracking cookies are set and controlled by the affiliate network and the merchant, not by us, and they are governed by their privacy policies rather than this one. You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings, and most browsers offer a setting to reject third-party cookies. Doing so will not stop you buying anything.

How we use information

We use the information described above to operate and secure the website, to understand which pages readers find useful, to respond to enquiries you send us, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We may share information with service providers who host or maintain this website, and with advertising and affiliate partners for the purpose of attributing referrals. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so. Any provider we use is expected to handle information only for the purpose we engaged them for.

Retention

We keep technical logs only for as long as they are useful for security and diagnostics, and we keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent you previously gave. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within the period required by applicable law. Please note that a request about an order must go to the merchant you bought from, because we hold no order data.

Third-party websites

Links on this website lead to sites we do not control, including affiliate tracking services and merchant checkout pages. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read the policy of any site you visit.

Children

This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date below indicates when it was last revised, and continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
